It’s wonderful to see the hard work our Eco Committee has done yield some positive results! A lot of our crops have struggled this year due to the unprecedented heat we have experienced but we have still been able to share some of our veg and herbs with the wonderful staff in our catering team. Ms Parker was very grateful to receive some fresh mint and podded peas. Just wait until the apples and pears come into fruit!

Following a tough interview process - we are proud to announce the Prefect team for 2026 -2027. 

They have been selected based on a successful application, a vetting process from staff as well as an interview. 

From 50 potential candidates this was finalised.

Turves Green has been involved once again with charity. The chosen charity for the year was Papyrus (Young Suicide Prevention) https://www.papyrus-uk.org/

Following cake sales and an ill-advised head shave from our staff we managed to raise over £150 pound. Thank you once again to the pupils, parents and staff who were involved with this and for giving generously - even if Mr Brennan is now regretting his choices.
