The science team, along with support from Mrs Bacciochi, have been devising ways to aid pupils in enjoying reading non-fiction materials. Outside of each lab there is a different article, aimed at KS3 outside C1, C5 and C6 and KS4 outside C2, C3 and C4.
Each scientific article links to a topic being covered this half term and may prove useful to their studies. The art of reading scientific articles opens up so many doors to not just science literacy, but all literacy. Also, keep a look out for our spotlight scientists between C3 and C4, every couple of weeks they will be changing. Some names you might know, some you might not, but all of their work is important and deserve a special mention.
