Pupils from year 7 and 8 got their results back for the Junior UK maths challenge. The challenge was issued to the top set of each of the two-year groups and is an internationally recognised award to identify mathematical talent from students all across the UK.
Hunter, Edward, Henry and Ahren in year 7 as well as Leo, Christopher, Callum, Zack, Archie, Mason, Aiden and Abdulazim in year 8 all achieved bronze awards.
Hamzeh and Denis in year 7 achieved a silver award with James, Kylan and Connor in year 8 all getting silver awards as well. Of those Denis was awarded the Best In Year and Connor the Best in School with only 2 points between the two boys!
Congratulations to all of those who took part. The UK maths challenge is an incredibly tricky test and shows a lot of resilience and skill to even attempt.
