On Thursday 16th February, we hosted our annual Careers Fair at Turves Green Boys’ School. We invited a range of different colleges, universities, apprenticeship providers, training providers and employers to visit and talk to our pupils about the future pathways and career options. Our visitors included: Cadbury College, Halesowen College, King Edward VI College, University of Birmingham, Aston University, The Jonah Project, Heart of England Training, Access to Music, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force amongst many others. Our pupils represented the school impeccably and were keen to discuss with our visitors their future options and ask thoughtful questions. Our Careers Fair forms an integral part of our wider school careers programme and will be followed by KS3 University trips in March and our Year 10 Careers Week in the Summer term amongst other events.
