Our Year 8 basketball team recently took part in Year 8 3x3 Basketball City Final competition. The whole day event saw schools form across Birmingham come together to participate in a fun filled basketball tournament. Turves Green Boys’ School were placed in Group A along with three other teams from around Birmingham.
The players battled hard in all 3 of their group games but unfortunately didn’t make it through to the semi-finals. All students had a great day out and loved the experience and atmosphere of the event which was run by the Birmingham Rockets.
The students now look ahead and start their preparation for the new basketball season.
