What an amazing show by the boys of Turves Green Boys’ School, who recently performed The Wizard of Oz to a delighted audience.
In a special twist on the classic story, Dorothy was played as Daniel, giving the production a unique all-boy cast. Daniel did a fantastic job in the lead role, taking the audience on an exciting journey along the yellow brick road.
The Tin Man impressed everyone with his entertaining performance and his search for a heart, while the Scarecrow brought plenty of humour and energy to the stage as he wished for a brain. The Lion was also a huge hit with the audience, delivering a memorable performance as he searched for courage.
A special mention must go to Toto, who kept the audience laughing throughout the show with some wonderfully funny moments.
The boys performed exceptionally well, showcasing impressive talent, confidence and enthusiasm. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the performance.
