Turves Green Boys’ School are celebrating a fantastic set of GCSE results. Our pupils have certainly embraced the school’s ethos of ‘Striving for Excellence’. The number of pupils achieving a grade 5+ in English and Maths has seen a 13% increase and pupils achieving the top grades of 7 to 9 has seen an even larger upward trend.
Headteacher, Mr Till, said “We are over the moon with the achievements our pupils this year. These results truly reflect the hard work and commitment of our pupils, parents and staff. They are even more impressive considering schools nationally are seeing a dip in their results this year and we have bucked this trend. The vast majority of our pupils will secure their first choice for post 16 studies where I’m sure they will go on to be even more successful in their chosen career path”
